Imagine waking up in the morning to a "dream life" and by the time you go to bed at night, your dream life has become a living nightmare.

That was me on March 7, 2017.

My bed that night wasn’t comfy or warm. Instead, it was a straight backed chair in the ICU waiting room with a questionable appearing sheet thrown haphazardly over my legs.

The hum of the vending machine down the hall was the only noise to drown out the thoughts racing through my head as my husband and I waited to see if our son would survive through the night.

As I sat in that room, I didn’t know that the next two years would be the most challenging years of my life.

I didn’t know that I would lose my business, my clients, my family, and my identity.

I didn’t know that I’d rebuild my business from a tiny closet in a foreign city.

I didn’t know that I’d find faith, love, and hope in a way I’d never known.

I didn’t know that years later, I’d share this story of transformation, strength, grace, and bold decisions with audiences around the world.

Even more, I didn't know that our story would inspire, encourage, and motivate them to make bold, life altering decisions without fear.

But...that’s exactly what happened.
